NSAC Announces Greg Taylor as New TCA ACCTFAX Editor
CENTERVILLE, OHIO, March 4, 2022—The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) is pleased to announce Greg Taylor, CPA, CVA, MBA, Shareholder, D. Williams & Co., P.C. as the new TCA ACCTFAX Editor. Greg has extensive experience in supervising audit engagements of agribusiness and cooperative entities. Greg has been a member of NSAC since 1993, and served both as Chairman of the NSAC's Accounting & Auditing Committee, and Co-Chairman of NSAC's National Planning Program Committee.
Greg obtained his B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from West Texas State University in 1983, and his M.B.A. in 1988. Prior to working for D. Williams & Co. P.C., Greg worked as a staff accountant at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co, and was Supervisor at Doshier, Pickens & Francis P.C. In 1994, Greg became Audit Partner at D. Williams & Co. P.C. In his current role, Greg oversees Assurance, Consulting, Valuation, and Litigation Support Services. In addition to his affiliation with NSAC, Greg is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and many other prestigious organizations.
The Cooperative Accountant (TCA), NSAC’s quarterly technical journal, has become the industry standard for information on cooperative tax, accounting, finance, and economic issues. Greg’s vision for the ACCTFAX column is to focus on developments from the AICPA’s auditing standards board, and highlight issues that are of particular concern to those working on Agricultural and Rural Electric Cooperatives.
