Presenter and Moderator Bios

Presenter: Josh Bakke, CPA, Senior Manager, Baker Tilly US

Josh Bakke is a senior manager at Moss Adams. Josh has worked in public accounting since 2010, providing consulting and tax compliance services for the food and beverage and agribusiness industries. Josh’s clients include agricultural marketing and supply cooperatives, their producers, commodity brokers, food processors, private equity groups, and high-net-worth individuals. He provides consulting services related to managing cooperative patrons’ equities, the Section 199A deduction for cooperatives and their members, and taxation. He is the current President of the NSAC Far West Chapter. 

Presenter: Chris Doolittle, Partner, Forvis Mazars

Chris Doolittle is a Partner at FORVIS, LLP, where he brings over two decades of experience in public accounting with a specialized focus on tax advisory and compliance. Throughout his career, Chris has worked extensively with cooperatives and closely held businesses, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting services tailored to the unique needs of each organization.

He is recognized for his deep industry knowledge, particularly in the cooperative sector, and his ability to translate complex tax regulations into practical, results-driven solutions. Chris frequently collaborates with leadership teams to navigate evolving tax landscapes, optimize tax positions, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Chris is a 2001 graduate of University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a B.S. degree in accounting and a 2002 graduate of University of Arkansas, Little Rock, with an M.B.A. degree. 

Moderator: Wayne Sine, CPA, Education Director, National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives

After retiring as Tax Director of a regional supply cooperative on the East Coast, Wayne Sine was asked to serve as Education Director for NSAC. As an active and long-term member of NSAC, Wayne previously served as Chair of NSAC’s Tax Committee, President of the Atlantic Chapter, and was a recipient of NSAC’s Silver Bowl Award. In addition to his work with NSAC, Wayne has also served on the Legal, Tax, and Accounting (LTA) Committee of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Chaired the Tax Committees for both the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Manufacturers Association, served on the Tax Policy Committee of the Virginia Society of CPAs, and served as Region Vice President for Tax Executives Institute.
