This discussion will empower participants to craft more effective prompts for generative AI productivity. We will explore how providing clear and relevant context can dramatically improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated responses. The session will also guide attendees in selecting the most suitable AI tools for various tasks, considering factors such as complexity, privacy, and performance. Through practical examples, participants will gain key insights for hands-on experience in refining their prompting techniques. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with actionable strategies to maximize the value of GenAI in their workflows.

Presenter: Loren D. Den Herder, Managing Director, Baker Tilly US

Loren Den Herder , Managing Director with Baker Tilly, is a leader in business process and information technology consulting, with a focus on business intelligence and data analytics solutions. He possesses deep expertise in artificial intelligence, which he applies to enhance business processes and deliver increased value for clients.  Loren's work improves business results through process and system design, business intelligence reporting, and multi-platform systems integration. His experience includes enterprise solutions in finance, human resources, operations, and customer relations.

Presenter: Jessica Carius, Generative AI Consulting Manager, Baker Tilly US

Jessica Carius is a Generative AI Consulting Manager with the Digital Advisory Services group at Baker Tilly. She has several years of experience working on successful transformational AI projects and client engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and driving strategic and responsible AI initiatives.

She specializes in the design and delivery of AI strategies and delivery models, fluency programs, use case ideation and prototyping, and the implementation of AI augmented business processes.

After retiring as Tax Director of a regional supply cooperative on the East Coast, Wayne Sine was asked to serve as Education Director for NSAC. As an active and long-term member of NSAC, Wayne previously served as Chair of NSAC’s Tax Committee, President of the Atlantic Chapter, and was a recipient of NSAC’s Silver Bowl Award. In addition to his work with NSAC, Wayne has also served on the Legal, Tax, and Accounting (LTA) Committee of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Chaired the Tax Committees for both the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Manufacturers Association, served on the Tax Policy Committee of the Virginia Society of CPAs, and served as Region Vice President for Tax Executives Institute.
