What is NSAC's Cooperative Learning Network?
The NSAC Cooperative Learning Network is a live, interactive webinar, and you can attend from any location with internet and/or telephone access. NSAC members can attend an unlimited number of CLNs at no charge!

Each Cooperative Learning Network will have one or more speakers who are recognized experts on the topic. CLNs typically include a Q&A session where participants can ask questions live or by chat. No advance preparation or prerequisites are required, unless otherwise stated in the course information. Attendees are able to download copies of the slides and/or handouts and are provided a link to view the recording (unless the description states the session will not be recorded). These tools help continue your learning experience after the session.

CPE Credits
The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor (#103068) of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

CLN Policies
Refunds for CLNs are not provided. All registrant will be provided with a link to the PODCast which can be viewed if they are unable to participate. Note PODCasts are not eligible for CPE credit.

What does my registration include? Your registration includes long-distance charges for the audio portion and log-in to the video presentation.

All handouts and presentation files are downloadable and may be printed out or saved to the participant's computer once they are logged in to the course meeting room.

A single registration for the CLN will include one Certificate of Attendance.

Every attendee must have a separate registration.

Objective: This session will provide an overview of the three bills passed by Congress with respect to COVID19 and how they impact cooperatives.

Course Description
This session will provide an overview of the three bills passed by Congress with respect to COVID19 and how they impact cooperatives. We will also discuss what may be on the horizon in the next Congressional bill. Monica Murdo (CLA) will provide further analysis of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and discuss the HR implications, what are the different leaves available and in what instances they can be utilized. Tom West (KPMG) and Jack Rybicki (CLA) will provide analysis of the CARES Act specifically with respect to PPP and EIDL loans as well as discuss payroll tax credits and deferrals available to employers. Tom Stout (KPMG) and Dave Antoni (KPMG) will discuss other provisions of the CARES Act and what is on the horizon at Capitol Hill. There also will be a Q&A the last 30 minutes of this session.
