As Accounting Manager, you will oversee the development, integrity, and delivery of the financial statements, month-end close, analytics, and reporting. You will be responsible for managing all month-end close tasks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Our essential goal is to find someone with 5+ years of accounting experience in a rapidly growing SaaS or Digital Health start-up with passion that will enter a room before you do.
In this role, you can expect to be responsible for not only Managing day-to-day general ledger and accounting functions but also:
- Lead and execute preparation of month-end close and accounting reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer billing functions
- Manage accounting staff
- Assist the Controller in managing the Company’s audits
- Assist with preparation of sales, franchise and income tax returns and filing
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with internal policies
- Assist Controller in making sure all regulatory reporting and tax compliance is completed in a timely fashion
- Oversee accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all business and customer transactions are executed and documented in accordance with GAAP and Company policies
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience in rapidly growing SaaS or digital health start-up company ? bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Active CPA license preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Exceptionally strong Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and remote
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once while maintaining incredible attention to detail
