With more than 2 billion active users on Facebook and Twitter each month, it is fair to say that social media has grown far beyond simply being online entertainment for teens. In today’s work environment, customers expect the businesses they interact with to have a social media presence. This presentation will provide an overview of Facebook and Twitter as well as how they can be incorporated into a cooperative. We’ll also answer any of your social media questions.

Course Description
During this one hour session, the attendee will learn the importance of a strong social media presence. The presentation will provide and overview of Facebook and Twitter as well as how they can be incorporated into a cooperative.
Presenter and Moderator Bios
Presenter: Cliff Dolbeare, Digital Communications & PR Manager, GROWMARK Inc.
Cliff Dolbeare grew up in Western Illinois on a corn and soybean farm. He attended John Wood Community College in Quincy, Illinois before transferring to Iowa State University to major in Agriculture Education-Communications. During his tenure at Iowa State, Cliff interned at GROWMARK as the Corporate Communications and Marketing Services Intern. After graduating from Iowa State with his Bachelors of Science, Cliff worked in a few different locations for a few different organizations. In 2013, Cliff was invited to join GROWMARK once again and so he rejoined GROWMARK’s communications team as the Corporate Strategic Development Manager. Most recently, Cliff was named the Digital Communications & PR Manager. In this role, Cliff manages GROWMARK’s online presence through both traditional websites and in social media as well as overseeing their public relations strategy. Cliff lives just south of Bloomington, Illinois with the four females that run his non-work life: his wife, their almost three year-old and one-year old daughters and their seven year-old puppy. Cliff has not slept a solid eight hours in a long time.

Delivery System
- All programs are delivered using the Zoom platform.
- Confirmations will include log-in instructions.
- Participants are able to participate using any device with an Internet connect (if the device does not have speakers, the participant can also dial-in) or they can participate with audio only by dialing in.
- All registrants will receive a link to the CLN’s recording by email within 48 business hours of event’s conclusion.
- There will be assistance available to help with technical and connectivity issues up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.
Registration
All registration is done on-line and each guest must provide their name and email address to participate. All NSAC members may register for free. Non-members may register for a nominal fee.
Refund Policy
NSAC will not issue refunds for CLNs. If a registrant is unable to participate in the CLN and provides notification to info@nsacoop.org 48 hours prior to the session, a credit will be provided for a future CLN. Alert the NSAC staff member monitoring the CLN if technical difficulties are encountered and technical support will be provided to eliminate problems with future CLNs.
Additional Information
Live participation is required for CPE credit and polling questions must be answered to document your active participation. All registrants will receive an email following the session with links to the slides and/or handouts, and a link to the CLN recording (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to participate in the live session, you can still watch the recorded session, but you will not be eligible for CPE credits. Those eligible for credits will receive their certificate by email with 7 business days.
