
NSAC Great Lakes Chapter Inducts Two Distinguished Leaders into Hall of Fame

The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) Great Lakes Chapter proudly recognized two of its most dedicated members—Rebecca Thoune, Signing Director at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), and David Loyd, Chief Financial Officer at Three Rivers FS—by inducting them into the Chapter’s esteemed Hall of Fame during the 2025 Annual Meeting held June 12–13 in Bloomington, Illinois.
The Great Lakes Chapter Hall of Fame honors individuals whose leadership, service, and lasting contributions have had a significant impact on both the chapter and the cooperative accounting profession.
Rebecca Thoune has served as a past Chapter President,and currently represents the Great Lakes Chapter as a Director on the NSAC National Board, chairs the National Tax Committee, and is a highly sought after speaker at both regional and national conferences. She also serves on the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives LTA committee. Her strategic leadership and subject matter expertise have significantly strengthened the Chapter’s role in advancing cooperative education.
An NSAC member for nearly 25 years, David Loyd has been an essential contributor to the Chapter’s professional development efforts. He has mentored professionals on GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, and his commitment to high standards and knowledge-sharing has elevated the work of cooperatives throughout the region.
Rebecca and David exemplify the values of service, excellence, and collaboration that define the NSAC community. Their induction into the Great Lakes Hall of Fame is a testament to their decades of impactful leadership and their unwavering passion for the cooperative sector.
