What is NSAC's Cooperative Learning Network?
The NSAC Cooperative Learning Network is a live, interactive webinar, and you can attend from any location with internet and/or telephone access. NSAC members can attend an unlimited number of CLNs at no charge!

Each Cooperative Learning Network will have one or more speakers who are recognized experts on the topic. CLNs typically include a Q&A session where participants can ask questions live or by chat. No advance preparation or prerequisites are required, unless otherwise stated in the course information. Attendees are able to download copies of the slides and/or handouts and are provided a link to view the recording (unless the description states the session will not be recorded). These tools help continue your learning experience after the session.

CPE Credits
The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor (#103068) of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

CLN Policies
Refunds for CLNs are not provided. All registrant will be provided with a link to the PODCast which can be viewed if they are unable to participate. Note PODCasts are not eligible for CPE credit.

What does my registration include?
Your registration includes long-distance charges for the audio portion and log-in to the video presentation. All handouts and presentation files are downloadable and may be printed out or saved to the participant's computer once they are logged in to the course meeting room. Sessions include one Certificate of Attendance. Certificates for additional participants are $10.00 each.

Recognition is a strategic, cost-effective measure that returns dividends to organizations that harness it. This webinar will cover the ins and outs of effective recognition for individuals, best practices for programs in organizations of all sizes, and will highlight the differences between awards, rewards, and recognition and their respective places in your effort to praise people.

Presenter Bio(s)
Jessica Scheer, SHRM-CP joined the ProValue team as a human resource consultant in July of 2019. Jessica’s human resources experience dates back to 2006 having worked in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Banking, and Professional Services industries.

Jessica received her Master’s in School Leadership and Administration from Baker University and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Newman University. Jessica is a certified Human Resource Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Registrations are completed on-line. Include the name(s) of the course(s) for which you would like to register and the email address of the primary registrant, to which program information should be forwarded. Log-in details will be email to primary registrants one day prior to each course.


Fees and Payment Procedures

  • The fee for each NSAC member participant login location is complimentary. For locations with more than one computer login each device login must have a named primary registration on file with NSAC.
  • The fee for each non-member participant login location is $56.00.
  • A participant sign-in sheet will be sent in advance of all sessions and the names of actual participants can be changed or added at this point. Each primary registration includes one CPE certificate. Additional participants may request a certificates of attendance for $10 each.
  • Non-members must pay online.

Delivery System

  • All programs will be delivered using the Zoom platform for CLN’s. Registrants will receive login instructions in advance by email and the virtual meeting room will open 20 minutes prior to the CLN start time. We recommend participants log-in 15 minutes prior to the start, allowing enough time to download and print any documents you wish to have available during the session presentation. It is recommended that you test your computer prior to attending a meeting.
  • All participants should have Internet access (high speed access recommended but not required) and an audio connection via either speakers or phone. For more than one participant per participant location, a quiet conference room with a monitor/screen and speaker phone is suggested.
  • Assistance is available with procedural, downloading or connection issues 20 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

Refund Policy

NSAC will not issue refunds for a Cooperative Learning Network registration. If a registrant is unable to participate in the Cooperative Learning Network, he/she will receive a link to the session’s Podcast.

Tip: Viewing the Podcast does not qualify for CPE credit.

Log Ins

Participants can log-into a course 20 minutes prior to the start time of the session. If available, you may then download related files. Course materials will also be sent within 72 hours of the CLN, unless otherwise noted. If you experience difficulty downloading please call our office at (937) 222-6707 or email info@nsacoop.org. For those registrants who may experience difficulty logging in to the video portion of the Cooperative Learning Network session, the audio can still be accessed by phone.

Webcasts:

Webcasts are available within three business days after the CLN. CPE is not available for viewing of the recorded session.
