Course Description

What Does Your Bench Look Like? Today’s leaders need to have a clear picture of their talent needs not only for today, but also for the future.
Key talent seems to be leaving out the back door shortly after coming through the front door. Organizations struggle to understand the connection between leadership engagement and employee satisfaction and as a result, talent is leaving for seemingly better opportunities placing Succession Planning on the back burner.
Without a simple process to identify the current and future needs of the organization, an understanding of what future leaders need to be able to do and a system for creating opportunities to develop high potential employees, organizations will be left with minimal talent during the most crucial time.
1.Understand the necessity of creating a Succession Plan
2.Understand the purpose of leadership/workplace competencies and why they play a key role in identifying future leaders
3. How to identify current critical positions as well as positions that are needed in the future
4. Identify talent at all levels and prepare them for the future
5. Create a plan to develop your employees
