Course Description

Will you be ready when a crisis hits your cooperative? Whether it’s a cyber breach… natural disaster… industry tragedy… or any other crisis, you’ll want to be prepared. In this 50-minute CLN, you’ll learn what legal and financial liabilities your cooperative, its leadership, and its members might face.

You’ll learn:
• When to talk to the media and others — and when to stay quiet.
• What to say — and what words to avoid.
• What information you’ll need at your fingertips.
• Your responsibilities — whatever your title or level
• How to plan now for crisis.

Laurie Richards has worked on both sides of the microphone — as an interviewer and as a spokesperson — in crisis. In this webinar, she’ll share practical must-have tips to prepare for the day you hope never happens.
