What is NSAC's Cooperative Learning Network?
A NSAC Cooperative Learning Network is a live, interactive 60-minute conference presented over the telephone and over the Internet. You can attend from any location that has telephone and Internet access. You pay just one registration fee for as many participants as you wish at each call/log-in location.

Note that high-speed Internet access is not mandatory – the system works with dial-up but you must have separate connections for the audio and video portions. You may use cell phones for the audio if you have only one connection.

Who presents at one of these sessions?
Your Cooperative Learning Network will have one or more speakers who are recognized experts on the topic. Conferences typically include a Q&A session; you can ask questions by phone or instant messaging options.

CPE Credits
The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

Delivery Method: Group-Live.

CLN Policies
Refunds for CLNs are not provided. Registrants if unable to participate will be provided credit for a future CLN or may opt to be sent a copy of the CLN PODCast following the event. Note PODCasts are not eligible for CPE credit.

For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or CLN cancellation policies, please contact our offices at (937) 222-6707 or info@nsacoop.org.

What does my registration include?
Your registration includes long-distance charges for the audio portion and log-in to the video presentation. All handouts and presentation files are downloadable and may be printed out or saved to the participant's computer once they are logged in to the session meeting room. Sessions include one CPE Certificate of Attendance. Certificates for additional participants are $10.00 each.

Registration

To register, click here.

All registration is done on-line. Include the name(s) of the session(s) for which you would like to register and the email address to which program information should be forwarded – the primary registrant. Log in details will be emailed to all primary registrants one day prior to each session.

Fees and Payment Procedures

  • The fee for each participant location is $0.00 for NSAC members and $56.00 for non-members. For sites with more than one participant, log in must be completed in the name of the key contact. A participant sign-in sheet will be sent in advance of all sessions and the names of actual participants can be changed or added at this point. Each log-in site includes one Certificate of Attendance for CPE purposes. Additional registrants may request a Certificate of Attendance for CPE purposes for $10.00 each for members and $10.00 each for non-members.
  • (Example: An NSAC member signs up for a 1 hour CLN and the registration has three total participants, two people other than the member that desire CPE. The fees would be $0.00 + $20 for a $20.00 total.)
  • Invoicing is available to NSAC member sites only. Non-members must pay in advance by check or by credit card. All payments will be made directly to NSAC.

Delivery System

  • All programs will be delivered using Adobe Connect. Participants may start logging in 20 minutes prior to start time. Participants must call the toll-free conference phone number to access the audio portion of the presentation. Participants’ phone lines are automatically muted upon connection to the call.
  • All participants should have Internet access (high speed access recommended but not required), a land-line based telephone and be in a private setting. For more than one participant per participant location, a quiet conference room with a large monitor/screen and speaker phone is suggested.
  • There will be assistance available to assist with procedural, downloading or connection issues 5 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

System requirements to use Adobe Connect:
Adobe Connect only requires that you have an internet connection, a web browser, and Adobe Flash Player version 10.1 or greater to attend a webinar. Adobe Connect supports nearly any operating system including Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris, as well as the most widely used browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

Refund Policy

NSAC will not issue refunds for Cooperative Learning Networks. If a registrant is unable to participate in the Cooperative Learning Network and provides written notification (email message is acceptable) to the Society within 48 hours of the session, and if log in instructions have not been emailed to the registrant, NSAC staff will remove your name from the registration list and a charge should not incur.

Log Ins

Participants can log-into a session up to one half hour prior to the start time of the session. You may then download the day's presentation files from the download screen, print them out to follow along with the speaker. If you experience difficulty downloading please call our office immediately at 937-222-6707.  For those registrants who may experience difficulty logging in to the video portion of the Cooperative Learning Network session please connect to the audio portion for audio participation. The live-portion, which is the audio part of the presentation)is considered the portion required for CPE credit.

PODCasts:

A PODCast may be sent to the registrant that had difficulty logging into the session.  If this difficulty resulted in the registrant missing the CLN presentation entirely, please notify the NSAC office of this situation via email.

Special arrangements may be made with the NSAC host regarding a PODCast substitute.  Note:  PODCasts are NOT available immediately following the conclusion of the presentation.
